Established in 2007, Carla Smith the companies designer and director, started the company after serving and designing for some of the greats on the high street. Carla worked for a number of design companies where Carla learnt her trade for 11 years, the day finally came when Carla decided to go it alone and that’s when her fashion design company called Carla Custard was born.

Carla was asked to design a small boutique range for a boutique in her home town of Halifax. Carla naturally jumped at the chance and with a well established work force behind her she started to design her own range, something all designers dream about. Since then Carla and the Carla Custard brand has grown from strength to strength and can be seen in a number of boutiques across the country.
